Punarpoo Dosham












Punarpoo Dosham gets into force when there is an association between Sani and Moon. The following conditions enforce Punarpoo Dosham. Dosham is a condition where situation becomes unfavorable.

  •  Sani and Moon in the same Rasi
  •  Sani and Moon exchange mutual 7th aspect on each other
  •  Sani in the Rasi of Moon [Katakam] and Moon in the Rasi of Sani [Makaram or Kumbam].
  •  Sani in the star of Moon [Rohini-Hastam-Thiruvoonam] and Moon in the star of Sani [Poosam-Anusham-Uthirattadi].

Punarpoo Dosham will be severe when Sani and Moon be in the following conditions:

  • Sani and Moon together in Rishabam [Rohini], Katakam [Poosam], Kani [Hastam], Virchigam [Anusham], Makaram [Thiruvoonam] and Revathi [Uthirattadi].
  •  Sani in Rishabam or Kani or Makaram and Moon in Virchigam or Meenam or Katakam respectively.
  •  Sani in Virchigam or Meenam or Katakam and Moon in Rishabam or Kani or Makaram respectively
  •  Moon be with Sun in Amavasai state and Sani in the 7th house from them.

Punarpoo Dosham will cause its effects but will be overcome easily in the following conditions:

  •  Sani and Moon get the association of Guru or Venue
  •  Sani and Moon together are combusted due to the proximity with Sun within 10 degrees.
  •  Sani with Sun but beyond 10 D between them and Moon in 7th House in Pournami state
  •  Sani and Moon in Punarpoo state in Rasi chart and in Navamsam chart they are together or separated in Dhanusu-Meenam-Thulam-Rishabam-Kani-Mithunam.

Effects of Punarpoo Dosham

  •  Delays and hindrances in deeds and events
  •  An unexpected twists and turns of deeds and events
  •  Spoils the rendering of athipathiyam of house they both represent.
  •  Confusion and lack of clarity of the mind
  •  A lack of trust situation
  • Spoils the karagathuva attributes of Moon and Sani

Note

 The 3rd and the 10th aspect of Sani on Moon will not result in Punarpoo Dosham. Here, the athipathiya attributes of the house represented by Moon will get spoilt and not the karagathuva attributes of Moon.
