Mars and Venus Relationship












Mars and Venus have a very special relationship between them. Mars has a friendly relationship with the Sun, the Moon and Guru. At the same time Mars does not have a friendly relationship with Budhan, Sani and Venus. Interestingly, Mars and Venus establish a fine and poetic relationship between them.

Mars and Venus support each other discretely. Mars in Rishabam and Thulam, the Rasi’s of Venus will not give bad results but only give good results. Similarly, Venus in Mesham and Virchigam Rasi of Mars will not damage good results but try to offset bad results.

Mars the Lord of Mesham has Venus as its 2nd and 7th house Lord; here Venus will reduce dab results and enhance good results.

Venus the Lord of Rishabam has Mars as its 12th and 7th house Lord; here Mars will offset bad results and enhance good results.

Mars the Lord of Virchigam Venus as its 12th and 7th house Lord; here Venus will reduce bad results and enhance good results.

Venus the Lord of Thulam has Mars as its 2nd and 7th house Lord; here Mars will offset bad results and enhance good results.

For Mesha Lagnam and Virchiga Lagnam, Venus in any position will try to offset bad results and enhance good results.

For Rishaba and Thulam Lagnam, mars in any position will try to offset bad results and enhance good results.

For Mesha Lagnam, Venus in House 6 Kani will inflict bearable and solvable bad results to the horoscope to please Budhan the Rasi Lord and its friend.

For Thulam Lagnam, Mars in House 6 Meenam will inflict bearable and solvable bad results to the horoscope to please Guru the Rasi Lord and its friend.

For Virchiga Lagnam, Venus in House 8 Mithunam will inflict severe bad results to the horoscope to please the Rasi Lord and friend Budhan but same Venus as LH7 and LH12 will also discretely step in and offset the bad results it delivered.

For Rishaba Lagnam, Mars in House 8 Dhanusu will inflict severe bad results to the horoscope to please the Rasi Lord and friend Guru, but same Mars as LH7 and LH12 will also discretely step in and offset the bad results it delivered.

Mars and Venus in any Rasi, where the Rasi Lord is friend to Mars, Venus is protected from distress. Similarly, if the Rasi Lord is friend to Venus, Mars is protected from distress.

Positions where Mars and Venus are helpless, but not damaging, to each other is when they are in a  combust position with the Sun, when both are eclipsed by Ragu and when both are in necham. 

The only position where Mars and Venus put their relation to distress is when they are in 6 and 8 position to each other and that too in these four positions:

Mars in Kani and Venus in Kumbam

Mars in Meenam and Venus in Simham

Venus in Kani and Mars in Kumbam

Venus in Meenam and Mars in Simham

In this 6-8 position they do not inflict harm on one another, instead, Mars fights its own problem unaware of the problems faced by Venus and similarly, Venus fights its own problem unaware of problems faced by Mars.
